PMS is considered a very effective human resource tool to motivate employees to focus on the achievement of organizational goals. However, it is usually restricted to a tedious three-step process in most organizations – filling up the appraisal form, one-to-one forced discussion with the supervisor and conveying the feedback to the HR department. This kind of PMS doesn’t bring any value addition to the organization and its employees.
A good PMS should close all these loopholes.
How We Help?
We ensure that PMS contributes to overall Individual, as well as, organizational growth apart from the growth in the sales and bottom line, leading to increase in high performance and a well-integrated employee at all levels.
We take care of all three components of PMS – Design, Implementation and Monitoring. We assess, identify and guide organizations to implement or improve their performance management system.
This is how we do it :
We help the organization and its employees understand the concept / system, clarify doubts and learn how goals are written and executed, its advantages and the basic rules of a performance management system.
Goal Setting Exercise
We encourage employees (appraisee) to set their individual goals based on their KRAs. We then validate their goals with the concerned supervisor (appraiser) and get the goal setting form signed by both parties.
Progress Review Sessions
These sessions are held quarterly between the appraisee and appraiser, in the presence of a trained facilitator. We ensure that the discussion is more qualitative rather than evaluative so that outcomes are understood, accepted and internalized.
Performance Appraisal Session
This session is held after the completion of one year from the date when the performance goal setting exercise.
We conduct at least three Behavioral / Leadership and Capacity Building Programs every year to assist employees manage their profile, address conflicts and enhance productivity.
At every step, our trained facilitator encourages a logical, two-way, interactive and issue-based discussion to eliminate any prejudices or biases.
We ensure that we help build a systematic and open performance management culture in the organizations.
